Comfrey is a tall, easy to care for perennial plant that is often grown simply for its beauty. In favorable conditions they can reach up to 2 meters in height and the furry basal leaves can grow up to half a meter long. In addition to its therapeutic properties, comfrey is also beneficial in the compost heap.
Red-violet, sometimes pink-white flowers are attractive to bees.
