Traditional Chinese Breakfast

I’ve been quite a fan of Traditional Breakfast, which usually consist of:

1) Half boiled eggs

2) Coffee or Tea

3) Toasted Bread (usually with Kaya spread)

But of course the combination traditional breakfast have evolved slightly over the years and there are more options on the menu.

The picture above is the half boiled egg, with Dark Soya sauce and pepper, that’s usually how we eat it. (Although some will put Soy Sauce instead)

  • I’ve ordered milk tea… And yes, you’ve to crack the eggs yourself!

    • Yes
    • No
  • I’ve got Ham and Cheese instead of the traditional Kaya toast…

    • Yes
    • No

What do you think?

  1. I like eggs on toast alibb but am more likely to eat them around midnight than for breakfast. Also I like my eggs runny. Usually I drink them raw in a glass of milk, whipped up very smooth and flavored with vanilla.

  2. The set of traditional breakfast looks familiar to me and I wonder which country you are from. I seldom eat half-boiled eggs and drink coffee nowadays, and my breakfast has changed to hard boiled eggs and cereal drink.
