Toxic Plants for Cats and Dogs

Many common plants and flowers can be toxic for our pets. Even though some of these will not kill your pet, they can make them very sick.

You need to be aware of the ones that are on the list. There are many more out there, these are just some of the common plants.

Tulips

If you have them planted outside, or in a vase inside, they’re a big no-no for cats. While not fatal, taking a bite of tulips (especially the bulb) can cause oral irritation, excessive drooling and nausea.

  1. This is important for my three cats. Thank you, Carol. Fortunately, almost all of the plants were not in my place except bonsai azaleas. A year ago I had aloe vera but some of my neighbors had asked for various needs.
