Reflection isn’t always about a mirror image. Have fun with this poll, about my day of reflecting.
I do a lot of reflecting when I hike…

I would just love to climb the hills in the interior part of Panama where my cousins on my late mom’s ide of the family call their home if they are not spending time in Panama City Panama working or going to school. Those hills were very challenging and fun to lose weight.
Oh boy, I would too. I would also like to spend time on the beach there!!
That era living in Panama before 1999 was great.
Your hike with all the pictures and questions has awakened my memory, Kim, except of course without snow.
I agree with your initial statement, and that means almost every day I post for the challenge. lol
This is as close as I am willing to go to hike in the snow. We got some really deep snow on our higher mountains, that kind of hiking is just too dangerous for me, and cold. I prefer warmer weather. This was the first time Luna has seen snow, we had to show her what it was like. lol Good going on posting every day!! I have been trying to do the same. Not very well though. 🙂
I am sure that you are a wise person in the calculation to choose activities such as hiking that are suitable for your condition, including to post reflections every day even though there is no shiny surface there.
Ah yes, thank you, reflecting isn;t always shiny right?
Yikes, I bet that water was freezing. You will have to start bringing an extra set of clothes.
beautiful journey and photos as well. Good to see you.
Yes, it was. It actually felt like it was burning me, then pins and needles. I was wearing hiking gear but the pants were jeans. Not a good idea, they just dont dry. The shoes dried in about 15 minutes in the sun. Pretty good right? I was so impressed. Thanks for coming along with me!
Kim this is a great description of your walk! I thought about your part of the world when they reported the snow.
You got snow we got freezing rain.
I will trade you, even up!
Snow levels got down to the 2000 feet marker. Our mountains filled with people. The ski lodges are super happy. Sorry about the freezing rain, did it stick on anything?
Funny thing, on the way to work it stuck on the trees. On the way back you had to dodge branches!
Oh not good, that’s when we used to loose power for days, living in Arkansas and Tennessee. I even have a video of the ice cracking during a thaw. That sound is so cool.
looks like you enjoy your trip 🙂
For about 1 hour yes. lol until I fell in. 😉
