I know I should have watched a Christmas movie for Christmas but the truth is I watched The Mule by Clint Eastwood. I watched it with my parents and I encouraged them to follow the example of Clint Eastwood in the Mule because at 89 he renders an incredible performance.
In fact, not only the character of Clint Eastwood is able to work for a Mexican drug cartel at his age, but he is also able to teach lessons and doing it in style. So fine is this character that he should be a role model for old people, no matter your age you should be always ready to live your life as you want. What is more, perhaps you get your dream job late in life…
The beginning of the movie is not really convincing and the end is not spectacular but in between, there are a plethora of great moments, some of them really funny. The most incredible thing is that this movie is based on a true story, in the real-life of a II World War veteran who worked as a courier for a Mexican drug cartel.
Clint Eastwood has just made a new movie. However, his last appearance as an actor was in this movie The Mule. In my opinion, The Mule can be perfect to end the legendary career of Clint Eastwood as an actor because he might be working as a director until he is 100 years of age. (Hopefully he does because many of his movies are masterpieces)
Seeing an old person (I repeat, 89 years of age) working for a Mexican drug cartel driving and transporting drugs is no a Christmas movie by any means to be honest, but I recommend everybody to watch The Mule by Clint Eastwood regardless.
Have you watched The Mule by Clint Eastwood????
