We have a train station in Onehunga and it is electric
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear Pamela….
Its been a long time since I took the train, but I really want to.
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear Dawn
I haven’t traveled by train in a long time.
Thank you for your visit and kind comment, dear Vidocka….I have not traveled by train for a while either
One day I would really like to drive, it must be interesting.
also think it must be very interesting only when it’s so slow
I don’t know if the train is slow
It is much slower than the car … not because of the other, but because of the stations that it has a very long journey
I love travelling by train. I would love to travel in a Slovenian train
Thanks for viewing and a friendly comment, dear friend…come visit and you will be able to ride our trains
Yes, I am starting to love your country because of your posts. I love Slovenija
Yes thank you, dear friend … I will not brag just that it is currently a real hit in Europe … for Christmas and New Year holidays all capacities are already occupied … we have one of the most beautiful Christmas fairs in Europe
I did not know that. Slovenija rules!!!!
Soon I will post about how different places around Slovenia are decorated
It’s a long time since I travelled by train. I haven’t travelled on an electrified train.
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear friend….I have not traveled by train for a long time either
I like to use the train if there is nothing urgent. It feels relaxed and provides an opportunity for us to enjoy the view.
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear Albert…you have to really take the time to travel by train … if I would take the train by sea I would drive more than 2 hours …. if I go by car I’m at sea in 1 hour
If I travel by train, for example from Jakarta (north of West Java) to Surabaya (the capital of East Java) then I will enjoy the trip for about 10 hours, but if I want to go to the end of East Java, to the city of Banyuwangi which has a port to go to Bali, with one transit, the total journey will take 16-17 hours by express train.
Maybe later, after the latest Hyperloop transportation mode has been built, with a speed of 1300 km per hour, the Jakarta-Surabaya travel time can be reached in just 56 minutes.
Of the five major islands of the 17,504 islands in Indonesia, to date, we only have railroad transportation lines only on Java and Sumatra.
How long will the train ride, dear friend …. 1300 km or did you make a mistake?
No, my friend, I did not make a mistake, I have seen videos and articles about it, after knowing the government’s plan to realize that transportation as soon as possible. You can be googling to find out what that transportation looks like.
That’s really extreme speed …. that it won’t fly, dear Albert
I have enjoyed riding trains and looking out at what is passing by
Thanks for viewing and kind comment, my friend….you have to have enough time for train travel … but it’s more relaxing
the metro in LA isn’t very good, but they’re trying…
Thanks for watching and kind comment, dear friend….The metro in LA probably has more km of tracks than the whole of Slovenia
true, but LA sprawls out in every direction…
How many people are in LA? 5 million …. the whole of Slovenia has 2 million … than in America a little bigger village hahaha
but you have a long cultural heritage. in LA it is basically Mexican with some fun other cultures mixed it
That is true, my friend … we have a rich colt heritage
Never ridden a train before but one day!
Thank you for your visit and nice comment, dear Carol
I think when it comes to railways there is progress all over.
I have travelled a lot by train and the most memorable one was when I took the Amtrak train to travel from San Jose to Oxnard in the US. It traversed along the coast running into miles of sea.
Thanks for viewing and a friendly comment, dear Grace…the train ride is always interesting, you just have to have a lot of time … it’s much slower than other means of transportation
