Today’s picture represents the ruins of the Curtea Domneasca Targoviste (Royal Court Targoviste) as it can be seen from Chindia Park. Former residence of several Romanian rulers, today it is an important museum complex, opened for the tourist circuit. During the last three days, in this place there have been many activities dedicated to the City Days. Everything will end tonight with fireworks. I won’t be there but I’ll watch them from the balcony!
Here is another destination in Romania that I want to visit!
Woow, it’s a stunning city. You have really beautiful castles in Romania.
We have some special castles. Romania is a country with a lot of history.
i love the many pictures of the castle you’ve shared! This one is awesome!
Thank you, Doc. It’s one of the reasons why I love photography. I can take many pictures in the same place and still look different.
It was cloudy Sunday here with temp 33
What an amazing place, we just don’t have that history here in New Zealand. To me, it looks like what you see in a Fairy tale but the history here is real.
Thanks for sharing.
Romania has a history of thousands of years.
That is mind blowing for me, not ever had that as a child, but we have other compensations…
Wonderful photo
We didn’t have a nice Sunday because of the continual rains.
Rain is good. We have been waiting for it for a long time but it has not come yet!
That is a lovey shot, Lleana. It’s a beautiful building.
This ensemble is a part of our history.
You have what sounds like the prefect place on your balcony. Away from the crowds and a great place for photos. Enjoy! This is a beautiful sky.
I have a good place to take pictures. However, it is not a very quiet area. I live in the city center and sometimes this area becomes very noisy
