I took this photo of one of my bird visitors, a Blackbird.
He was like a stunned mullet as soon as the shutter clicked and didn’t stay long but he is one of the regular birds that love to eat cat food.
I see about 8 birds on my door step every morning and when some cats eat their fill, they also go to the door steps of cat owners or those who feed cats any way.

We have blackbirds. I am not sure they are exactly the same. Are there lots of different kinds of blackbirds?
I only have sparrows near my home.
Yes I had blackbird babies in my yard this spring for the first time. Cool to watch.
