  6. You are right. Putting a person in with the duck made the duck more appealing. Presumably that will be the case with the swan and the flamingo as well. I think a beach boy would look cute with the pink float, rlol. Yellow hair, about 17 years old, with a fishing pole and a fish dangling from the line.

      • Mark Twain scores 1, Ann scores 0. But you are reaching for straws because Huck Finn was, is, and always will be 13 years old. You may be thinking of Becky Thatcher. Tom Sawyer may or may not have had yellow hair. According to Univerity of Texas professor Shelley Fisher Fishkin, Huck Finn may have been Black, but plenty of Twain scholars are not biting on that one.

          • Sorry, but he lost me when he said the following of Jane Austen: “I want to dig her up and beat her over the skull with her own shin-bone.” She was dead, for Chrissake, a gentleman would have left her buried.

            But your boy somewhat redeems himself with the following: “Let us abolish policemen who carry clubs and revolvers, and put in a squad of poets armed to the teeth with poems on Spring and Love.”

            I think what you like best about him is the paradox. It makes him seem human.
