Earlier I read of a new challenge presented by #Ileana Calotescu that sounded like a lot of fun and I accepted the challenge. I chose to keep the chain going by posting on a tree, since there were some trees in her post.
The photo I chose is one of a tree that I saw in December when we were in Branson, MO. This tree was at the Fish Hatchery near Table Rock Lake. My husband wanted to visit the fish hatchery and we all ended up enjoying it. Outside they had a nice area devoted to conservation with lots of birdhouses. This tree stood out to me for some reason. I found it to just be “regal” in the setting there all alone.
Here are the rules to the challenge:
1. I will post a photo, preferably one with as many elements (beginning of the chain)-DONE by ME!!
2. You will have to choose an element from my photo (example: building, chair, trees, shadows, umbrellas …..)
3. Mention in the comment which element you have chosen
4. Create a post containing a photo of the item you have chosen. From this post, another photo lover will be able to choose an element … and repeat points 4, 5, 6
5.Use the hashtag #PhotosChain, so we can all follow the posts
6.Add in your post the link to the photo from which you chose the respective element
7. The most important thing is to have fun, so that we spend our time in these days of lockdown.
Have fun!

That was my thoughts when I first saw it! I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one with those thoughts.
Thank you. I’m glad you found them, that is what counts! Thanks for reading!
that is a great addition to the chain!
we used to go visit the fish hatcheries in southern Indiana all the time.
Thank you. Challenges are fun to do! Are you joining in this one?
honestly, i limit myself to one challenge at a time now (still doing song Saturday)!
I should go look that one up!
for me it is a lot of fun! every Saturday we get a lot of fun songs shared!
That is a wonderful looking tree
I am glad that you enjoyed the photo.
I love all kinds of trees. Great job on the challenge. I posted one today.
I’ll be reading it soon! I may wait until tomorrow. I’m beat tonight and ready for an early night!!
That is a beautiful tree! Thank you for joining this challenge.
Challenges are easy to do and great when you can’t think of what to post next!
I like to take pictures of different trees. I am taking part in this challenge.
Yay! I’m looking forward to reading your entry!
Wow! Is that a CEDAR? If so that is a monster! We used to get our fish from there, and the one on Norfork lake in Arkansas for the resort.
Yes, it was huge. That is the largest Cedar tree I’ve ever seen.
That’s cool. I didn’t know they sold the fish they raised there also. I read that they stocked several natural waterways with the fish. Very interesting!
They supply tablerock, the rivers and bull shoals and norfork lakes.
Yes it was quite a list from what I remember!
Very beautiful and interesting tree!
It was a very old Cedar tree. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
It looks very majestic.
