Please email the admin team. I do like Ghoswriters add, please say please and please say thank you to the admin team in your message. My hope is they will start approving more posts more often. I did want to point out the two different conversations about the Admin team; It was pointed out to me in a message that in the origin of this site, the admin team and development teams were different groups. I have gotten responses from the admin team saying that they had other things to work on beyond managing the posts of the site. So, you can consider both sides of the discussion in fairness. Sharing both sides is very important when making sure communication flows appropriately.
In the wander project, I wanted physical pain today. The reason for that is today’s technical Review. I injured my right shoulder carrying a computer bag on one shoulder for years. I injured my left shoulder in an accident. The right shoulder popped back within about a month once I switched to a rolling computer bag. The left shoulder is a more significant issue. I have chased several solutions to the pain. Recently, on another fun site, a friend recommended something to me. I cannot say that I had ever considered this solution to the problem. Which for those who know me well is hilarious because the answer is to use a technology tool to mitigate the pain.
Technology? Doc? Sign me up! The product is called easy@home Tens handheld. Tens is an electronic stimulation system for pain relief. You take a patch and put the piece on what hurts. Then you connect the part to the lead and turn it on. You can get varieties that plugin, use batteries, or rechargeable. I got the rechargeable one because, in our house, we are always out of cells. Once it is all connected, you select the therapy you wish, and the system runs a gentle electrical current through your body. There are three settings on the one I got massage, heat, and knead. Overall I have been using this for about a week in the mornings, and my shoulder pain is not gone, but it is significantly reduced.
Overall I give the Easy@Home and 9 out of 10!

I do have a slight shoulder pain. Funny because I felt more pain when I was regularly going to the gym pre-pandemic. I will be re-evaluating what workouts I do once I start going back to a gym.
mine was a structural issue, caused by the accident. So overall i am trying to find ways around the internal issue.
but shoulder pain is frustrating!
I bet! In the military we had this ammo can lift portion of our combat fitness test that I hated. In order to train for it, I always had to do shoulder press workouts in the gym. It always aggravated my shoulder.
Mine happened in a car accident and it tore the inner parts of my shoulder (1 tendon structure rotator cuff and the physical collarbone was snapped in 2).
I can tell you 10 minutes before it rains though!
Gee, chronic pain is a big bother in life. My mother had a bad knee that she endured for more than 10 years before she died (of a different cause).
first I am sorry your mother passed. Knee pain is the worst. It makes walking and moving hard!
I have had chronic back pain for half my life. Despite the surgery, the pain did not go away. The doctors told me to get used to the pain. 😱
that is frustrating – are you allowed to use a Tens device? It might help.
I have already used this device but the pain has not subsided.
Will email once again with names. 🙁
Sorry about your shoulder. Funny how you don’t realize how often you use a part of your body until it hurts. Tens has helped me in the past but of course it is short lived. But what isn’t right! It is worth a try I would say. Sort of like having PT at home.
it has knocked down the major pain which was my goal. I can deal with the ache!
