The US space agency NASA has announced thousands of dollars in prizes for those who design compact toilets on the moon. According to NASA, anyone who designs a compact toilet that works on microgravity and the moon will be rewarded with 20,000 USD.
The prize will be awarded to the person who designs the best toilet, while the runner up winner will receive 10000 USD and the third winner will receive 5,000 USD. NASA said that the design of this toilet will have to be based on a few basic principles, meaning that the design of the toilet can not be larger than 4.2 cubic feet, nor can it have a capacity of more than 60 decibels.
NASA says that when astronauts are in their cabins, they take off their space suits and they also need a toilet that has all the necessities of a home. According to NASA, the deadline for the Toilet Design Challenge is August 17.

i am not a good enough engineer to make a microgravity toilet. But it is cool that NASA is reaching out to the world for this problem!
Yeah , NASA also welcome public development
it is a great agency – thanks for sharing this!
Yeah , I watch some time their live videos
i worked on the last video project it was a great time!
Nope, not me I sure could use the money but I know I cannot design the right toilet.
It demand a lot of expertise ,
This is a little too difficult a challenge for me
Yeah , so are you participating in this challenge ?
No, I am not participating in this challenge.
Hummmm , since it demand a lot of expertise
Strange, and the pandemic did teach us how attached people are to thier toilet paper.
Yeah , that’s true ………
Sounds a little silly to me.
NASA some time even silly things as well
Someone has to design it, but it won’t be me!
Hummmm , yeah many says the same
