From the eyes
to the ears
covered.
The sound spreading like
paint
thick
the puddle growing outward slowly
filling
the cracks and crevices
but not covering.
Filling
but leaving open spaces
not covered by paint
the previous attempt
stil visible. Do you
hear
from your eyes
or your ears?
The tin cup slammed
against
the paint
leaves
no impression.
Save the sound
the eyes hear…

This is the time to act after being properly considered.
🙂 The time to act, is something I’ve wondered about for a long time.
My apology if I don’t pay attention to what you’ve long wondered and also, what action do you mean, Doc?
for me most right now it is trying to reduce negativity and push people more to positive!
Very understandable, Doc. If that’s what you mean, of course, I see it clearly.
The word from some of the right wing sites is to stand up and counted before it is too late.
In the words of Sandler Boggs
It matters not what others say. It only matters what we do.
That is true since actions speak louder than words.
In fact, they do. When the world is dark, its time to turn on a flashlight!
That is what I am trying to do on this site and others.
Love that poem. It really is the time to act.
🙂 Thanks! It is a struggle sometimes that we sometimes ignore, but perhaps ignorance is no longer bliss.
Mostly we are guilty of what is happening around us and we are partly responsible
🙂 Sometimes the rustling of the wind is what doesn’t move the sails of the boat!
Wow, that poem really resonates, and I love the picture.
Thank you for the kind words! 🙂
Cute photo Doc Anderson, and the time to act is now. Some people wait until it is too late to change.
truer words have not been spoken. Change comes now, not tomorrow.
