The miniature city of Madurodam is really cool. I have to say and I have shared this before, the first time I went I didn’t reality that Den Hague translates in Enligh to The Hague.
We saw a bunch of limos going to one building. We realized the next day it was the World Court!

“Railroaded, or roadrailed”
that is a great one – it is one of those odd things we say. It is a rail “road” but roads normally support cars, trucks, buses and bikes!
They sometimes call rail carriages cars too, as how many cars has that train got?
my great-grandfather was a finish carpenter for the Pullman Train Car Company. I always go to train museums to find old train cars from Pullman, perhaps my Great-Grandfather worked on it!
that made me laugh – very good, yes they are head in the clouds!
We cannot edit comments so I am adding another one. This made me think of Gomez Addams and his miniature train with the passengers inside and then him blowing it all up.
i haven’t thought about that in a long time. I used to love the Addams family!!!!
