girded in armor and
looking out upon the field of battle
i am all.
Eyes winking i turn
to walk away from what
once was the resting place
to rise, to be free of the sound
that resonated with me
in me
of me
by me, but in the sense that
the sound
in the air where i was
near the air, but not in the air
breathing, expelling, by me
in proximity
but not by me.

the sound between the sound when a couple sits on a bench and watches.
It is in those too but those aren’t the ones you want to be free of.
no those are the ones I want to keep, but there are many i wish to remove as well
Even the window curtains are visible. These houses are dreams.
