as I wander from the door to the
front yard and seeking the sun
I stop and turn.
but turning I find no sun.
no light in the sky, I see
only the shadows.
that claw and drag me towards them
i am heliotropic i seek always to
see the face of the sun
and smiling upon me rise into the gloom
pushing shadows to the ground
away from me to revel
revel in the rays of the sun.
When asked answered
I am heliotropic.

We have sun here most of the time
that is awesome, i love sunny days!
I like sunshine but sometimes It can be too dry too hot too humid. I don’t like dark days all the time either
i miss sunshine all winter and dread sunshine all summer!
Can you believe this we have summer for most part of the year and yet when it begins to rain I miss the sun.
