For some time now, it seems that we are constantly surrounded by uncertainty. This is also because we are practically connected 24 hours a day with bad news. Here are some tips to help you maintain the daily positivity that each of us needs during these difficult times.
1. Control the amount of negative news. Sometimes a single title can be enough to start wondering about the current situation.
2. Let’s listen to music. It is probably already well known to us that music affects our well-being, so you can also help maintain your daily positivity and relaxation.
3. Let’s read some positive book
4. Let’s hug someone. Often, hugs can act as a stress reliever that puts a smile on individuals’ faces.
5. Let’s laugh. “Laughter is half health” and it is true, as laughter has many positive effects on our psychological and physical health.
6. We spend some time in the company of animals. If we have a pet at home, it is a good idea to take time at least once a day for them because, in addition to making them happy, their society has a therapeutic effect on us.

Sorry, but hugs right now are not something very recommendable. We have to be very careful. Reading is important but if you read newspapers right now one can be overly worried. We have to find good books instead. I have a dog and it helps a lot. Thanks for your tips. I love the picture
Thank you.You are right. I was thinking of hugging our loved ones or our pets. I was thinking of a good book to read.
Of course. I know. I was looking at it from a negative point of view. Yes, reading good books is great. Reading newspapers is horrible these days. I was reading now in a newspaper that perhaps we will not get a coronavirus vaccine or it is delayed until 2022 at least. But I started a book about Ancient Rome and the bad was forgotten. Did the Roman conquer Slovenija as well?? We were conquered by the Romans.
Yes, Rome also liberated Slovenia. What a coincidence. I also love reading history books.
I don’t know if this works, dear Vidocka …. but I’ll try
Try it. Surely some advice will help at least a little.
I’m so tired of everything …. I’ll tell you if it works
i love these tips, although hugging can be dangerous if the person has something to share (illness).
I agree. However, we can hug our loved ones or pets.
Great ideas. How about some titles of books that anyone could recommend?
Thank you. I think the title of the book depends on what topics are of interest to you. I really like to read some kind of historical love story.
In the beginning I watched the development of this pandemic. Now I read the news from the Government of Spain. Then I search for an entertainment channel. I do not want to overwhelm my psyche with such negative and many times false speculative information. Thanks for this post.
I, too, initially followed the news more often. When I find out they are fake, I listen to only one news daily (when the government and experts speak)
We need to recognize that mental health is as important as physical health. Taking care of our mental health at all times helps us during times of unprecedented stress like now.
These tips will surely help.
I’m thinking the same as you. So I try to do as much as possible for my mental health.
Yes , It will help for sure
Some things really help me.
Those are useful tips. We have to cling on to that which gives us positive energy.
I agree. I’m trying to do things that calm me down.
Absolutely this is a great reminder list. Nature and animals are the best, as well as music.
I agree. I go for a walk instead of listening to the news.
I avoid news about Covid 19. I don’t like to read it.
You are absolutely right. I also listen to as little news as possible.
I love the photo. The tips are great. I try to give myself a mix of positive thoughts, music and show I enjoy watching.
Thank you. You have a great way to deal with stress.
These are very good tips. Watching the news all day can be devastating.
Beautiful photo!
Thank you, Ellie. I only watch the news once a day.
