Guess the Name of this Bloom

Another post to guess the name of the flower. I posted and talked a lot about these flowers over the years. They attract lots of bees and butterflies. Probably more bees than anything else. The pollen is always covering the bees in my photos. So are you ready to guess the name of this flower?

  1. Rose of Sharon is such a pretty name. As a northern cousin of the tropical hibiscus I was curious to know if its petals can also be used to make tea. So I “Googled” it and learned something: yes, they can, and the leaves also!

      • How exciting, Kim, were yours tasty? I have bought the dried hibiscus flowers online to make my own “Jamaica” which I like to sweeten with Birch sugar. Delicious, but messy to cook and strain the dark red liquid. Does the pink flower taste the same?
