Groundhogs ~ POLL

I wrote a post earlier about the famous groundhog that predicts the weather each February and you can read about it here Prediction 2018. I know many of you are not familiar with this US and Canadian event and the groundhog, so I decided to make a poll with some interesting facts about groundhogs.

Happy Groundhog Day!

  1. Um…I believe that the hoary marmot and the alpine marmot are actually the largest of the squirrels. Woodchucks and groundhogs are marmots, but they are slightly smaller. We are still talking about very large squirrels, either way. They are great tasting, too, as a passing side note. (The hoary marmot is the heaviest and the alpine marmot is the biggest, for clarification.)
