Taking the leftovers from dinner or lunch to eat at another meal is practical and avoids waste. However, some foods should not be reheated, as the process can cause discomfort or other health problems.
1. Chicken – Birds usually have certain amounts of salmonella, as do their eggs. For those who usually reheat chicken in the microwave, the warning is: the food placed in this type of oven does not heat up as a whole, which means some parts get hot before others. In the case of chicken, the advice is to turn the pieces of meat from time to time, so that all the food is really hot.
2. Rice – The issue here is mainly due to the storage of rice. If it gets to room temperature, it can produce toxic substances that cause intestinal problems. Once cooked, let it cool and then store it in a closed container in the refrigerator.
3. Potato – Again it is important to pay close attention to how the food is stored. If left too long at room temperature, the potato may cause the growth of the bacterium Clostridium botulinum responsible for botulism. Always put leftover potatoes in the fridge.
4. Mushrooms – If not stored properly and refrigerated, this food is conducive to a rapid proliferation of bacteria. Detail: Once cooked, the mushrooms can only be reheated for up to 24 hours.
5. Spinach and other vegetables – Depending on where spinach and other green leaves are grown, they may have a high concentration of nitrates, which can turn into nitrite and then nitrosamine, a carcinogen. The tip is: do not reheat spinach and green leaves.
6. Eggs – They are a fantastic source of protein, but they can also cause serious illness when exposed to high temperatures. Once cooked, starred or scrambled, reheating eggs can be very damaging to your digestive system.

Thanks for informing, dear. Try not to have or eat leftover if possible, I meant myself.
There are things I reheat and things I do not. I suspect my list is very similar to yours, although I would probably reheat chicken.
We store everything right after finishing the meal!
We never re heat food but steam it Steam keeps the food unaffected but moisturises it.
Hmm, sounds like we are doing everything wrong. Thankfully these days I now only cook what we can finish in one meal.
We automatically put the leftover in the fridge for reheating later in the microwave. I don’t see any problem with that whether it is chicken or dinosaur.
I am feeling hungry seeing this picture and going to eat now.
I eat leftovers fairly regularly and heat them up.
wow must be delicious……
