Sharing a flower from one of the garden stones in Dustin’s garden for today’s Macro Monday challenge. This stone is one of many in the garden. And the flower in the photo is very small. Using the macro setting on my camera, it looks like an ordinary bloom.
More of the little things in life that are often overlooked. I see these stones every day. But when you see them with a macro setting, all of the beautiful details are enhanced. Little things can make a huge difference in life.

its a wonderful picture. and it depends on the situation i think,
Life is short, enjoy what you have today, instead of pursuing what you do not have. Great choice for macro photography.
Yes I have been told that many times and am trying to listen! Thanks.
If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way
Yes and appreciate those small things every day.
It is those small things that make my day and that I think is what is called art of living (lol)
Thanks for sharing what is so precious to you
Many overlook those small things Grace. You are welcome.
Wonderful flower. It’s something special.
Thank you very much, I had overlooked the beauty.
Nice photo of the beautiful flower. I did not know about the Macro setting…I point and shoot with my camera. Not really knowing much about the whole process at all.
Most camera have a macro setting, yours may not. Thanks Pam.
Small things make big things so they are equally important, I may say, they are sometimes even more important than big ones as they make me happy and cheerful so often.
Yes they do indeed. The little things are my favorite in life.
A good choice for a close-up!
Thanks, I was surprised at all the detail I never noticed before.
Joy is in small things, my dear friend … beautiful picture
Yes indeed you are right, thank you very much.
The devil is in the details …
perhaps this photo shows it…?
We often overlook small things that cause big problems …
Lovely photo 🙂
I agree with you. I have had this stone for years and just noticed the fine details.
And thank you very much for your kindness!
there are things we walk by every day that sometimes when the light is right, we remember they are there. They bring anew the passion that got them where they are in the first place.
You are right, and this flower is one of those things. Amazing.
i did that by accident the other day. I had to move a light in the basement, and suddenly it shined on a picture. I had hung the picture, but it was forgotten. I stood there staring for nearly 5 minutes.
You were suppose to see that picture. If it got your attention for 5 minutes, it was no coincidence.
that is an interesting thought. The view of accidental versus planned.
Yep, I certainly believe! 🙂
You have done a great job by using your camera in such an artistic style.
Thank you! I was out looking for butterflies when I saw this.
