Sharing a photo of one of the many baby blackbirds in my backyard. This one was up in one of the pine trees. I edited it to black and white for today’s challenge. I had three blackbird nests, if not more. And I think they have all fledged. I now have a very noisy backyard. Full of blackbirds. Not sure if that is a good thing.
I love all kinds of birds. But I am still waiting on the bluebirds to nest. I think the robins and blackbirds have them on hold for now. I just hope it is not too late when the others birds are gone.
And I may be wrong. The bluebirds may have nested elsewhere and they are just hanging out at the house in my backyard. They are messing with my head. 🙂

You are blessed from the point of view of your visitors every year.
This year has been more than ever. I believe the rain and the trees are maturing have both helped.
Birds are fascinating…wouldn’t mind watching them all day but since I am a pixie it is likely I will annoy one or two ?
Yes they are, I enjoy bird watching in my backyard every day.
I find bird babies cute… actually, babies of all animals look sweet to me
They all have my heart when I see them.
fingers crossed on the bluebirds! Would love to see the blackbird nest! Now, what about Orange, Pink and yellow birds You are missing some colors!!!
Thanks, I am bummed about no bluebird babies. I have seen a couple of yellow warblers but they are too quick for the camera. No orange or pink. But the robin has orange in its coloring. And I did write about a blackbird nest I saw. It was high up in the tree, so it was challenging to get this shot…..

Yes I have m any bluebird posts. None from this year, not yet. I am not giving up on them.

Carol, it looks like you have too many birds this year and you can not keep up with all ?
I have never seen so many. I think the bluebirds are not liking so many birds.

You and me both, I see the bluebird but they are not nesting. For the first time in many years now.
You always have so many special there…
I’m trying to imagine what if there were so many birds of various types building nests around me… It seemed very exciting.
You probably do have nesting going on around you, if you have mature trees especially.
There are a mango tree and star fruit around me but there has never been a bird’s nest.
Keep your eye out, you never know.
