The well is located in the central square in the old town center of Radovljica. Josephina donated funds for the construction of the city waterworks in Radovljica. Two years later, a well-shaped monument was erected to her by the townspeople. At the top stands a schoolgirl with a book in her hand and leans on a medallion with a portrait of a benefactor. Josephine was a great benefactor and had no children of her own. Perhaps that is why she has donated a lot of money to charity for children and teachers. She also donated a house for teachers and provided a fund for support and gifts for the students of Radovljica, which made her an honorary citizen of Radovljica.

We don’t have any wells in New Zealand that I know about.
We have some but they are not used.
I like fountains but we have in town only a few artesian fountains that work during the summer!
It only works in summer because the water freezes in winter.
I hope that nobody picks that they do not like wells. We all need clean water in order to live.
No, the water from this well is not used. I hope tourists take that into consideration
I love such interesting fountains, they are so beautiful.
Thank you. They really are something special and worth seeing.
