The state park is only about a mile down the road. I visit as often as the weather permits.
Today was one of those days filled with sunshine and blue skies.
The trees are trying to get new leaves. Spring will be here soon. I enjoyed being outside for awhile.
Nature has much to offer if we look around.

It is important to be near nature and visit it often. Well done.
Well yes, and sometimes I am just very bad at it!
But we keep trying, learning from any mistakes we have made.
That would be my frequent place yo visit.
I do visit as often as the weather allows. The rescued owl is tother favorite attraction for me at the park.
Owls are really majestic though I have never seen one.

i love the rain when I am inside. When I am out with the dogs walking, not as much.
now the gloom day after day, that I do not like!
I do not like driving in the rain either. The other drivers go crazy.
i heard my wife actually curse (she has done that 3 times in 30 years) at other drivers in the rain in DC!
Been guilty of doing this, you get your buttons pushed!

I like the parks. In them I always find beautiful things to shoot. Whether trees or animals.
They have so much to offer. And you are right, there is always something to shoot.

Same here Dawn. A great place to relax and photograph many things in nature.
You’re lucky to have such a lovely state park nearby. I have become too much a worker and inside sitter and need to get out. I will do my best to get myself moving because from where I sit to the left is the beach just some blocks down and to the right the Halifax River.
I agree with you, there are many benefits to the park. They also have cabins. Places to walk. And Cotton, the rescued owl lives here. Getting out is an attitude adjustor for me. Rain here for two days, then maybe spring will arrive soon.
I enjoy walking around the park. The current weather is not suitable for any longer walks.
Yes it was a beautiful day today. Today is the only day this week for walking.
