Are you superstitious?

Believe it or not, the combination of Friday and the 13th day of the month is relatively nearly considered a symbol of a major accident. This type of superstition dates back a hundred yearsago, and there is even a name for this kind of phobia – paraskevidekatriafobia.

Everything started from the Bible where we read that Jesus was betrayed by Judas who was a guest for dinner.

Even today, many at the table do not want more than 13 guests.

Many hotels in the world do not have 13 floors. Simply skip it.

In England, Friday was a “hanging day” on Friday because it was precisely on that day that the execution of all those sentenced to death was executed.

In some hospitals there is no number 13 in the rooms.

Also, some airlines have not  number 13.

I’m not superstitious, but listen to my story.

I had a young worker who never wanted to work on that day, he was superstitious.

One day on Friday 13 , I invite him to work, but he refuses.

All right, just let me drive my car to the customer, I’ll do the job and you get the money.

I would.

When we arrived I saw that when bathing was already painted and that the paint should be removed.

I say that it adds extra money,  but the owner begins to blackmail me with the amount.

I turn around and get out of that man’s house where I was supposed to do the renovation of the bathtub.

When we moved into a car I told this young worker “you’re really jinx”

And he answered me, “I tell you, and you will not believe me”

  1. I am not in the least superstitious.
The one about black cats is just silly. Some parts of the world the black cat is considered lucky. : ) Great poll btw!

    • They say that doctors do not like to do surgery during the full moon, because of bleeding.
The exact impact of the month on the ground on people and our behavior is not known.

      • Unknown by scientists who have not bothered to study it but well known to police, schoolteachers, nurses, and the like who experience the strangeness every month.

    • Do you like the black mack.
Or just be afraid of a black cat.
In reality, the cat is just a cat.
Let the white be black and let it be like a tiger.
There is no reason to fear the black cat.

  2. When I was younger my later mother was superstitious about so many things. I think she is the reason that I’m not superstitious. I love my mom but I felt like her superstitions were paranoia.

This is the incident that really turned me off. When I was in high school I had acne. I took one of my high school pictures and cut it up! I hated the picture. Did my mom try to tell me “Oh child! You’re beautiful. Don’t worry about the acne. It’s a phase. You’ll grow out of it!” Oh no! She didn’t say anything like that. She took my cut up picture as if it were puzzle pieces, fit the pieces back together and glued them back into a whole picture! She’s like “Child! Don’t you know cutting up your picture is bad luck!”

She was serious! I was furious!! To think that cutting up my picture was actually going to bring something disastrous upon me. From that day forward, that was it for me and her superstitions.

    • Cutting a picture for you is a bad sign.
Like people who do not like to be photographed.
Speeches take their souls by taking pictures.
I think your mother had an impact on you. It’s a matrix of behavior that you’ve been digging.

  3. I am not superstitious at all. I have had a couple of black cats as pets, I have often crossed them on the street, I have walked under ladders, nothing has ever happened to me or anybody else at a funeral except for crying for the departed, I have often worked and slaved on Friday the 13th etc. etc. Now I am not saying this to belittle anybody but I am just stating that I am not superstitious.

  4. I’m not superstitious, but some of the customs I stick to – if a black cat crosses the road with a 3x spit they say in an old tradition

  5. We are all a bit superstitious..We knock in the tree 3 times not to hear the evil ..But I do not believe in jinx … black cats or Friday 13.However, I know a person who looks at all this carefully, and does everything to eliminate “bad luck”.I do not even need to say that I am very nervous in her presence ..

  6. So I do believe … like balck cat jumping over the coffin but mainly because we’re told to guard the coffin during funerals…
others I don’t believe as much
