Last year I shared a donkey and her baby I saw at a farm, while going to the store. I visited them again yesterday, from a distance. And the baby is almost full grown. So pretty with the brown spots.
I learned this bit of trivia about donkeys. People who raise donkeys refer to the babies as foals. Males are called jacks, while females are jennets. Now you know.
Since the cows have gone from behind my home, I enjoy getting out and seeing the other animals around. These two were very friendly. They come up to the fence when I get out of the car.

In terms of animals, i see in the wild, I would have to say my favorite is the Hawk. I can watch them fly for hours.
Yes I knew that. I miss my cocker spaniel. Hawks are incredible to watch.
