I made a huge platter of spring rolls from scratch for lunch with some sweet and tangy sauce today. It was a lot of work, but it tasted really good. I hate the store bought sheets that I normally use. So I found a few different ways to make wraps and store them in the freezer in Zip lock bags. Now the next time I want to make some I just need to pull the bag out, wrap the filling and fry them.
My older son came home just for a few hours and I made his favorite lunch. He had a few hours off work due to change in shifts . He will be on ER duty at night for the whole of this month. He is back at work now so I found the time to visit Virily . Last evening I had trouble getting into the site. I tried for a few hours before I gave up and did some other work.

I love spring wraps. Vegetables are my favorite food.

The dough is made with all purpose flour, salt and water. Rolled out into thin sheets which are then stuffed with chicken, lamb or any meat filling.
we make them in the air fryer, they are amazing!
I have made them in the airfryer as well, it is a healthier option.
yes we try to stay away from frying in grease now.
What did you fill these rolls with because they can be filled with any type of food?
That is true, I usually use lamb or chicken for my filling. Right now only chicken is available in our stores , so it was chicken.
I used to ask for spring rolls when I went to a Chinese restaurant. With this huge crisis, I wonder if Chinese restaurants will be popular again.
That is true with a call for abandoning all things Chinese , Chinese restaurants will take a hit.
