I get up early in the morning during the week to post and share my thoughts, blogs, and dreams. I wouldn’t say they are always good; I wouldn’t even say they are ever good. They are my thoughts and reflect where I am as a person. The evolution of where I am as a person is interesting to me, not so much to other people. It is the memories that drive the change.

Memories are something each of us has. We have varying amounts of memories. They are, after all, finite reality. The memories we push out into the universe are the ones that others know. But within us also lies the memories we keep to ourselves — the moments sometimes of our failures. The moment we-we realizes that we had made a mistake.
Those are the moments, the seconds of self-realization that we find ourselves linked to, but also grow from. The painful memories of where we once stood, are the ones that remind us of where we are now.
We are tulips or tomatoes in the garden. A small bud, green and tiny but we Beyoncé flowers, or tomatoes, ready to face the world. The things we do to help our flowers grow to measure us, change us, and in the end, define us.
That is the reality that is the family history project. That my pictures, combined with my thoughts, dreams, aspirations, become the missives sent out from the web.
My grandfather always taught me two things –
1. Family is the most important.
2. Only risk what doesn’t hurt you to lose.
But, if the chance arises, do what makes you happy!
