Tips for a weekend in Lisbon

No matter where you go, you will always end up discovering new square over and over again, as there are thousands of them.

  1. I can imagine how beautiful it is then! But it’s also fun to explore such corners to feel the atmosphere of the place.. 🙂

  1. Great post.
Hope you don´t be bother by my remarks.

Lisbon is very different from what used to be when I was a student “traveling” around the city in old smoky (not anymore) buses!!

    Thank you for this.

  2. Excellent quality post, Elena! So well written, and with such great photos 🙂 Portugal is one of my absolute favourite countries, and I always enjoy Lisbon when I visit. Have you travelled elsewhere in the country?

    • Thank you for your beautiful and motivational words! So far I’ve been only to Lisbon and Sintra. However the south of the country, whole Algarve, is on my list for this summer! Do you have any recommendations for some other place to visit?

      • I spent last Christmas on the Algarve near Albufeira, and enjoyed it very much, but my real favourite area is the north, between Porto and Galicia. I walked the pilgrim route there (Camino de Santiago) a couple of years ago, and it was one of the most magical periods of my life 🙂
