A Morning In My Rose Garden

Each morning I visit my rose garden, as most of you already know. We had lots of rain from the after effects of a hurricane over the weekend. So as I walked in the garden this morning I noticed the most beautiful blooms all covered with rain drops. I know I share my roses a lot but I hope you don’t mind one more share as they will be gone soon for this season. This morning I was reminded of a song called In the Garden Alone…. “while the dew is still on the roses”. A beautiful song.

Rose Bud

This rose bud is a sign of hope. A hope for a new bloom, a new day, a new sign from up above.

Rose Drops

The rain weighed down some of the roses. A lot were upside down but that's ok, they are still beautiful.

Without Insect

I snapped this one because the drops are just so pretty and the marker in the background show the fallen rose blooms. I know Dustin and my Dad are smiling as they see all the beauty. Life is all about the little things.

Bonus Bloom

Do you see what I see? As I snapped this photo an insect flew into the bloom. So cool as I did not expect to see him in October.

These re all beautiful, Carol. Please keep sharing those roses for as long as they keep going. The raindrops bring a lovely freshness to any flower, and they make those pink roses look especially good!
