Praying Mantis like this one, kills my monarch butterflies either butterfly or caterpillar.
However, if I see one, they get put onto my vegetable plants or fruit trees so that they can eat the insects that eat our food.
I am not afraid of these insects I pick them up and tell them to gather food on my plants for food.
However, if they don’t like the location I have seen them fly away else where.
