Hooded crow (Corvus corone).
It occurs in Central, Eastern and Northern Europe, Asia Minor, East Asia and the Suez Canal. Only its northern populations are migratory. In Bulgaria it is common and widespread. Separate specimens fly in the southern parts of the Balkan Peninsula in the winter, and many birds from the more northern European countries come to Bulgaria. That is why in the winter their number is growing strongly. It inhabits all types of human settlements, and in nature we can also meet it in open fields and outskirts of forests. Sometimes it occurs in the higher mountain fields up to 1,800 m above sea level.
Wonderful capture of a crow
Beautiful bird and a great photo
Beautiful photos ??
Crows are sometimes a little wicked …. at least in the us ?
they somehow look more sinister than the all black variety…
