In his book “Plant Research” of about 300 BC, Theophorst has described (between plants that affect the mind) a bush called the onotheras that modern editors translate as an oleander. “The root of the oleander immersed in wine,” he argues, “mitigates the layout of the character and cheers.”
The Nourium oleander is a genus of evergreen perennial shrubs and trees of the Toyn family. There are three types. They are found in the Mediterranean and subtropical Asia. In Bulgaria, a common ozume is poisoned, which is poisonous – it contains a toxic glycoside, close to the stryphanine. It is grown as a decorative flower, with beautiful red, white, yellow and pink aromatic colors. It is used in medicine for cardiovascular problems. It is widely used around the world to decorate gardens and parks. Blooms in the summer.
The Oleander is the official flower of the city of Hiroshima, the first flower to have blossomed since the fall of the 1945 nuclear bomb.

In my country oleander is also known to be poisonous. Now oleander is rarely found in the yard, except in public gardens.
