My apology… I want to say that this picture is amazing with the speed of that bird flying. …but I was surprised and at the same time wondered, why did I already comment here? 1 Log in to Reply Don’t worry about it, we all do things like that sometimes. Log in to Reply I had a Canon 7d for a couple of years, great camera! What a wonderful picture of the Weymouth Oyster Catcher in flight. I do have to say however, I had never heard or seen this bird previously so I also got to learn something today! 1 Log in to Reply Thanks Doc, yes Oystercatchers are common in New Zealand. They go in groups and make a pip pip sound and are rather nervous birds. 1 Log in to Reply Then your capture is all the more impressive. 🙂 Nervous birds leap to flight, and try to get away from humans! 1 Log in to Reply An amazing view of the oystercatcher in flight. 1 Log in to Reply Thanks so much Deepizzaguy, glad you like it Log in to Reply My pleasure to praise your photos on this site. 1 Log in to Reply A wonderful bird … you do not see us here 1 Log in to Reply Thanks so much Lado, it is a NZ sea bird.
