Geez! I copied and pasted your writing and made it a comment!
I don’t realize what I have done! My apology…
I want to say that this picture is amazing with the speed of that bird flying.
…but I was surprised and at the same time wondered, why did I already comment here?
Don’t worry about it, we all do things like that sometimes. Glad you like it. I have several other great photos of the Oyster catchers flying in Weymouth
Oh, Okay, Pamela. I’ll check em out.

Thanks so much Maggie

Thanks so much Shaun, pleased you like it.
I had a Canon 7d for a couple of years, great camera!
What a wonderful picture of the Weymouth Oyster Catcher in flight. I do have to say however, I had never heard or seen this bird previously so I also got to learn something today!
Thanks Doc, yes Oystercatchers are common in New Zealand. They go in groups and make a pip pip sound and are rather nervous birds.
Then your capture is all the more impressive. 🙂 Nervous birds leap to flight, and try to get away from humans!
An amazing view of the oystercatcher in flight.
Thanks so much Deepizzaguy, glad you like it
