A Real Conversation

I always find it interesting when my husband announces that he wants to have a real conversation. (I am not sure what the other conversations we have are.)

He asked me if we have real conversations here. I gave it a lot of thought and there are a few people I have real conversations with and many who are simply here to gather virils and get paid. (There is nothing wrong with that either.)

It does make me wonder, if as a society we are losing our skills to have sincere and meaningful conversations. I like a cute emoji now and then,  and I still love to read and hear the words.

So I think once a week right here on Virily we should have a real conversation post. Where we really talk about things that matter or make us laugh or have nothing to do with the site and maybe get to know each other.

I am not very hopeful that anyone will participate. If you decide to just use the title real conversation and put up a subject.

What do you think?

  2. You are quite right – the art of proper conversation does seem to be in decline. One problem is that – sooner or later – somebody will take offence at what someone else has said, and you end up with an online shouting match and name calling.

At least – that is what often happens on other forums. I would like to think that people round here are a bit more mature than that.
