Credence Clearwater Revival or CCR was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s which consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty; bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford.
The band had many classic songs. This one was probably my all time favorite. I still listen to these songs today, they never get old.
Enjoy!
This one gives me the chills every single time.
Me too, love his voice and listened to it growing up.
Beautiful song. Thanks Carol !
Great one here, I thought I voted this one but I doubled checked and found out I had not voted it. sigh!
Yes this is one of my favorites.
My favorite CCR song is Suzie Q.
CCR – yeah! Huge fan! This is my second favorite Fogarty song, but I agree this is my favorite CCR song as welL!!!!
How can you not be is what I say! Amazing.
agreed, their set as part of the original Woodstock, is one of the best!
I love Credence Clearwater Revival. My favourite song is “Fortunate son”. John Fogerty was expelled from the band in one of the more strange cases of the history of rock and roll and the band stopped to being good.
I need to listen to that song again to recall the lyrics. Fogerty was great on his own years later, I saw him in concert.
“Fortunate son” has great lyrics. Perhaps you have already heard it.
I just love this song and very appropriate now that we have very cool and rainy days
Good to hear, I thought about so many having rain right now, and this is a favorite.
I still love listening to their songs today. It’s the band of my youth.
So happy to hear you know this band as well. Classic music!
Albert, I was wrong about who started the challenge. It was our dried Kim!
Here is a link to one of my first entries with her link as well for the challenge.

Great choice, dear Carol … it was one of my favorite bands … I still listen to them today …. I liked Hey Tonight the most
Thank you, I love this song, and it never gets old.
I saw John Fogerty in concert a few years ago. He had a great solo tour.
His voice was divine to me, dear friend
We have always loved to follow what is happening in America “Across the swmp”” as we say it.
And so we imported movies, music, and more from you.
Unfortunately, sometimes bad things come as drugs.
Here I turn on the speakers and listen to them.
I really love them.
I am so glad you listen. And yes, there is always bad with the good.
This song is stored on my computer and cellphone and is always ready to be played anytime.
Oh cool, so this is one of your favorites as well!
Yes, of course for certain situations. Also, some which a lot more noisy and smoother for other situations.
I completely understand. So much good music out there to enjoy.
Yes, Carol. Btw, is this a challenge too? Who started this?
Yes this is a challenge and I believe Ghostwriter started it.
This is a band I have loved to listen to often for 90 years.
I still love them today.
Who’ll Stop The Rain, Feelin ‘Blue, Dovn On The Corner, Have you eveeeenthe rain And Etc ..

I am so glad to hear that Robin.
They are one of my very top favorites.

Seeing John Fogerty in concert a few years go brought back all the memories.
