Easter Message – Belated

Hope everyone here had a Happy Easter.

The first image is a simple pencil drawing of Jesus Christ, well no one really knows what he actually looked like but my drawings are taken from the movie, “Jesus if Nazareth”.

Had better add here,   I may love Christ but I am not a church attender but have no objection to going to an odd service. I am just myself and take one day at a time

Much as I would love to, can’t do everything I don’t always get to choose. I care for someone else full time and I don’t mind my husband is good to me. He has had a shoulder replacement with titanium parts covered in fancy plastic. He had the best NZ surgeon, David Wright.

Even so it takes longer to recover than a hip replacement.

So we had an easy Easter celebration, simple from our local supermarket. Basic Hot Cross buns with chocolate chips, only each one per day. Basic marshmallow Easter eggs and one each per day.

#1 Hot Cross Buns

Heat about 30 seconds in the microwave oven and they are delicious.

I would much prefer to bake my own but my husband takes that time away

#2 Packet of marshmallow easter eggs

Yes one day I wii create Easter eggs myself and would love to try it, but this has to do and they are delicious

#3 The actual eggs

Just chocolate filled with marshmallow. Always have had easter eggs like this but don't mind something different

Just another thing? Does anyone actually win those, "Win $500.00 a day?

#4 A real live Easter Bunny

This photo was taken 2 months before Easter, gone down a rabbit hole since..

I don't mind rabbits even if they are imported from another country but in NZ they are considered a pest, I suspect these rabbits think humans are a pest and its another way round.

#5 Jesus of Nazareth

A drawing I've done of the Good Lord Jesus Christ and this can be used to celebrate any occasion.

Here, his life example example of universal love and kindness extending to all people.

Goodwill to all..

What do you think?
