My Tiger Lilies are still blooming for a little while longer. They have really big red blooms with the yellow and pollen center. The butterflies love these for their pollen of course and so do the bees. My favorite black Eastern Swallowtail was feasting on this bloom today and I managed to get a photo before he flew away. A challenge as they flutter away so quickly. It made my day to see this beauty.
I took this visitor as a sign that things will be better soon. We all go through those difficult times and in my case all it takes is a beautiful winged visitor to remind me that life goes on. No matter what you are going through, the sun will set today and rise again in the morning. I am starting the second half of my day with my smile. I wish the same for all of you.
