Each year my butterfly bush grows in Dustin’s garden. I planted it just a couple of years ago. It continues growing each year and soon the butterflies will arrive. The blooms are starting to appear. Another perennial plant in the garden. I cut it back at the end of summer and it it returns in the spring. Low maintenance is what I like. Lots of sunshine and water each day.

That is very pretty and so nice for your special garden. I like to go to lepidopterariums. Sorry for the too big word, but I can’t remember the short name for these places. One I know is called the Butterfly Palace. Maybe you know and can tell me the best common term to use.
Wow I learned a new word Ann. I researched lepidopterariums and the pieces are stunning, love the jewelry. We have butterfly houses and exhibitions to visit live butterflies. Then they have gift shops to sell butterfly products.
Oh, butterfly houses, that is nice. The one nearest me is called a Butterfly Farm, but it is a research center not so much an attraction, although they do let interested people in.
Butterfly research center, would love to work at a place like that.
I just noticed the one down the road was in almost in full bloom. The blooms on the very top are just starting to open. It was straight up noon and sunny when I noticed. I will go back in the next few weeks at a better time of day to see if I can get a shot or two.

Beautiful blooms shown here! I lost all my butterfly bushes a few years ago but you’ve reminded me that I should acquire new ones. Do you keep them as a low bush?
Yes so far mine is low, but I just got it two years ago. It is still growing.
