A surprise afternoon shower only lasted about 30 minutes. But long enough to drench the roses. This bud was full of rain. You can see it if you zoom in and look closely at the photo. It reminded of a phrase my Grandmother used a lot, from the book of Psalms in the bible. She would quote the verse and I remember this part… “my cup runneth over”, I heard it in my mind just like she said it today. Amazing how our memories come to us out of the blue it seems. The roses were thankful for the raindrops. I captured a few shots and this was one of my favorites.
Sharing this rose with you and hoping you have a great rest of the week. I will be gone for a couple of days. But I will return soon. A quick trip. I will be leaving the Dude and Brendel in charge. So I will not be responsible for what they may post. Ha! Have a good one everyone!
