A few of you might remember an earlier version of this piece, this giclee print has taken things in a slightly different direction. She is styled after Lightning from Big Trouble in Little China…

I think I mentioned that there was also a strong Legend of the Kage influence. This pose was inspired by the game

The pose and the details of the rain that hit his body are so fun to chew on for long!

Amusingly enough, her husband Thunder was thought to be the powerful one. We know now that thunder is merely sound and fury signifying nothing, while lightning is one of the most powerful manifestations of nature. I wonder how many marriages are like this?

Very interesting subject! China should not feat with her watching over it lol.
