Sukeban Evolution – WIP

Sukeban is the Japanese word that is used for the leader of a gang of female delinquents. Oddly specific, no? There are a lot of words like that in Japanese. At any rate, this is a piece that I did a few years ago but was never quite happy with the resolution…

        That is true since the majority of characters that are anime shows are tougher than nails.

it's nice and I wanted her to be in a dark alley, but it just seems too dark

The dark alley does lower the impression level of the character.

Still reads as a dark alley, but I've managed to give her enough definition to really pop out. Really struggled with whether or not to use a lens flare on her katana

I must admit that it is indeed difficult to determine the lighting options for this cool artwork! But I like and choose to agree with the light in the Katana as well as finally, I agree with the choice for # 1 release.
Besides that, I really like her posture!

Looks like she is doing Piyo which is a type of exercise I am going to start doing. Made me feel more confident.
