This is a drawing I did in 2016 of the ubiquitous Usain Bolt.
Love him or hate him (and I can’t understand why anybody would hate him), Usain Bolt fills seats and makes crowds of people gasp at his sheer ability and speed; his showmanship makes us laugh, there has never been anybody quite like him in athletics and I dare say that there never will be again.
He will be a sad loss to sprinting when he finally hangs up his spikes.
Drawn on 120g white paper with HB, B and 2B pencils.
Amazing job Lee!
Great job once again. As for him like his abilities on track but not so much his standoffish attitude.
Your drawings are great! You know his name being Bolt always seemed fitting.
Thanks, Howard. Yes, the very definition of irony :o)
