In The Darkness We Find Nightmares is a Fractal Art piece created using JWildfire Fractal Flame editor.
It may be that I just have an affinity with darkness and what emerges from it. I found that since childhood, I have not been afraid of the dark, but more at ease in the dark and a calmness that is something I’ve always associated with it.
I wonder how many others have the same feeling as me about the darkness? Please let me know your thoughts on the feeling you associate with the dark.

The created image is great, and I remember the nightmares from my childhood when I was alone in the darkness. Perhaps an exaggerated imagination. 🙂 Now I don’t have this problem anymore.

When I looked at the preview I thought it looked like some sort of animal face. This fractal reminds me in a way of the formline art of the Pacific Northwest.
