So many of you have seen my caryatid piece, which is the final painting for my Dia de los Muertos shows this year. I thought it looked nice but when I went to print it, the piece was WAY too dark. Instead of trying to calibrate it to print right, I just reworked the entire thing. Here are all the variants…

I want to make a mask like that
post it here if you do…
Nailing it. How many pieces are you entering? Is it only one or can you have several like the last show?
doing three, two of which are small and the other being slightly larger
They are all excellent !
How kind of you to say…
Excellent job my friend
will post this year’s entries soon…
All great, I think personally I liked the last one most. BUt all great!
I am going to cultivate a more traditional look and feel in 2019
As I said, the darker is usually my preference. Her face is intriguing
I was happy with it, too. Until I tried to print it…
Well done! Nice post!
Nice to see you again…
The dark image of the female character looks great for a scary setting.
I will do more dark pieces for October…
All right go for it since it is your show.
tis the season to be spooky
It really is since great money from the entertainment industry is in full swing by advertising the Halloween materials.
I prefer the raw image the best, but they are all excellent.
I can see that I’ll have to scan in the print so you can see what happened…
still prefers the original…
2nd would be the #4, love the rays
I just can’t print the original- it looks almost pitch black…
What about recolouring/adjusting the colour it? maybe lighter blue or something?
Yeah, I could try for a whole calibration thing but I decided to go for the sure bet…
