The purpose of macrophotography is to capture in the images the less visible world and if it is possible to fit it into a photographic composition.
By the original definition, a macro photograph is one in which the size of the subject on the image sensor is life size or greater.
This little insects is about 5 mm long with dark-blue wing with greenish reflections, and red legs. Cereal leaf beetle is not as harmless as it seems. I adore insects. I love watching them fly, move and change.
Great picture!
I can’t say I love them but I like to photograph them!
they bring so much to the world!
I don’t really like such insects
I like them only in pictures!
I am not much into insects specially one that destroys my ficus palm just when a bunch of new leaves appear (lol)
What can I say? You have to find a solution to save your ficus!?
I did everything but I have accepted my fate (lol)
I don’t like insects but this beetle looks nice, so colorful.
I like insects just as a subject of my macro photos. It’s fascinating to look at them through the camera lens.?
Wow!!
Great photos!!
I’ve never seen this beetle before!!
It is native to Europe and Asia. This means that in your area there is not this grain pest, which is a good thing!
What an incredible beetle. Love the iridescent shine on this one. Great macro.
It looks good in the photos. In reality, it is not so spectacular or loved!?
