During the summer months our temperatures get way above 90, close to 100 and the humidity is very high as well. Some days it feels like a sauna outside. I long for the fall and winter weather. I am reminded of the cold weather in this cardinal photo taken back in January. He was leaving the feeder with a peanut in his mouth from my deck. I can long for the cold and maybe it will be here before too much longer. I try not to complain as there is nothing to be done about the weather except endure. But why can’t it be not too hot, not too cold, but in between. Oh well I can dream.

I love the fall best of all, except that it tells us winter is near.
We don’t have much snow here in the winter accept on the mountains which is mostly in Cape Town. You sure are blessed to take such nice photos out in your backyard Carol.

The reason I cannot handle very hot summers is for health reasons like heatstroke.
The fall is my favorite time of year. I do not like it too hot or too cold. But, I would rather be too hot than too cold.

Are you searching for the golden middle? We do not have it either. We have not many really comfy days. I love hot with low humidity and real frost minus 15-20C because it gives much energy and tone, such days are usually so sunny! I love tender fall and spring of course most of all! When I choose time to travel to a resort I prefer the “velvet” season.
cold is better for my machine, but I prefer warm weather. 80s are my ideal temperature range
I prefer 60s actually for ideal. I like cool.
I like to wear a Tshirt and shorts, so that’s too cold for me
cold I can wear my heated jacket and my heated gloves and it isn’t cold anymore. Hot, well it was hot when I lived in Thailand, I can deal with hot but I don’t really love it.
I know, it’s like you can put more clothes and covers on but you cannot get cool enough when the temps are soaring.
I do not like the cold.
I like to see the Winter landscape. No big Summer fever.
Spring is my most beautiful.
I love the Autumn of the color of nature in nature.
I left out spring. I love spring as well. Silly me.
