We have a BBQ Grill on our backyard deck. One day we saw a BlackBird flying into the grill. When I opened the grill the Blackbird had built a nest and laid 6 eggs. A few weeks later my fiancé heard a baby bird chirping and he peeked into the grill and saw that one of the bird eggs hatched. He was able to capture this awesome picture. I think the BlackBird has found a new home and we need to buy a new grill. ?

Superb photo! You must not use the BBQ very often if the birds built a nest there.
We don’t use it in the winter and that’s when they built the nest. We just didn’t know it until we saw the mama bird go in. At that time it was too late.
I hope he wasn’t left behind!
Oh no he wasn’t!! The mama and daddy bird are always there. They keep watch and peck at my dogs if they get too close.
