As commonly understood, a polygon is a two-dimensional plane bound by a number of straight lines. Familiar examples of polygons are a triangle and a square. See how much you know about this fundamental geometric concept with my fun quiz 🙂

6 is a bad score considering I am fond of maths
It’s over 50% so it’s a pass, Grace! And this quiz was really rather specialised 🙂
Super Norman – it seems that there is still some knowledge from school-7/11
LOL I’m glad to hear it, Lado! Thanks for playing 🙂
Still posting SPAM here? Grow up.
You got 8 out of 11 right!
Great. You are a budding geometrist!
Wow! So fun and challenging, Norman!
Thank you, Albert! I am so glad you enjoyed my little quiz 🙂
There are some new things from this quiz, Norman. So this time I got 10% smarter, but of course that depends ?n the retention.
You need to do ALL my quizzes EVERY week to be sure of maximum retention 😀 😀
I’m sure that’s a great formula! What is the standard, psychological or Wikipedia?
My own proven standard 😀
Hahaha… Beautiful cool full standard!
Wao great I got 9 out of 11 this was great for me hehehe
Well done, Nabi! And thanks for playing 🙂
Wonderful fun Quiz. I am age 80. Never took geometry. Just took Algebra 1 and 2. Got 10 right second time. Thank you for the teaching.
Well that’s the best encouragement I’ve had for some time! Thank you, John – and well done 🙂
lol at number seven.
You got 7 out of 11 right!
Great. You are a budding geometrist!
Keep on budding, buddy!
For my own surprise I got 6 out of 11 which is quite good for me. Thanks, you made my day 😀
Very happy to hear that, Nela! 6/11 is a good score for this very tricky quiz 🙂
Five. Picked up clues from the names, but got some of them wrong too. Basically in the dark most of the time. Interesting, but have a sense of emptiness in polygonatiousness, going on infinately. –urk–
LOL, Kathy 🙂 It is all about the names, no matter how you come at it! And yes of course the empty plane does go on infinitely in an infinity of directions. And that’s just 2 dimensions 😮
I got 9 answers right over 11, yay
Excellent result, Anna! Congratulations and thank you for taking part in the quiz 🙂
…a very advanced quiz of mathematical knowledge about polygons where some of it were not taught by our elementary and secondary teachers, only for professional and advanced masteral of mathematics enthusiasts…you got a fantastic quiz that’s truly remarkable…Congrats Norman 🙂
Many thanks for the positive feedback, Traf!
Well, I must click the “Report Content” button. You prepared such a difficult quiz, mate. I started becoming tougher and tougher with each question.
LOL, Abhijit-ji! For a moment I thought you were reporting another of my posts (which I would not be surprised if someone reported!) This was a hard quiz, for sure, but thank you for trying it 🙂
Hey… adding that “ji” at the end…!!! Sounds surprising to me a bit. Your name doesn’t suggest you are from India. But I’m pretty sure you know why that suffix is used 😀 😀
I believe I do. I have visited your country several times 🙂
Oh… great to hear that…I am sure you visited some popular places in Mumbai and New Delhi. Quite a few actually. And meet me mate, when you revisit 🙂 I’d love to.
I certainly will, my friend 🙂
11 out of 11. I guessed 9, 10, and 11.
You guessed well, bold boy. Well done 🙂
This was fun! Only missed two of them!
Oh, well done, Mom! That’s one of the best score (always excepting Andrew, of course 😉 ) Thanks for taking the quiz!
Well math was always one of my best subjects (until calculus lol)
Until trigonometry for me. I don’t even re,member what calculus is 😀 😀
I don’t remember it either….and that was 11 years ago (pre-cal anyway)….I didn’t even get that far in college lol…think I stopped after college algebra.
I’m just glad to forget all that stuff – wish I could forget a bit more!!
Yeah…seems as some of that stuff isn’t even needed after we learn it!
99% of everything I my maths teachers ever tried to teach me is not applicable to normal life 😮
You got 8 out of 11 right!
GreAt school I was a high school student in Geometryat. You are a budding geometrist!
8 is a good score, as the quiz is quite tricky! Thanks for playing, Elenka 🙂
8 out of 11 😀 I really don’t know much about it, but used my knowledge of some Greek numbers. 😀
That is the key, Zaklina! It’s the only way I know which shape is which, too 🙂 Thanks for playing!
Always 🙂 Your quizzes are too interesting to skip them. 🙂
Don’t know much about this subject 5/11
Am amazed at how well I did. You required some thinking with this one, but engaging those particular brain cells helped make for good guesses on a few.
Isn’t it fun, sparking those synapses?! Glad you enjoyed it, Roberta 🙂
I thought there might be an angle to this quiz.
BWAHAHAHAH! :- ) Okay….you win!
I like to my punniness in shape.
I tried to cover all angles 😉 Thanks for taking the quiz, Gary 🙂
Good quicker quick thanks for this
got 7 correct nice quiz
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂
You got 4 out of 11 right!
I don’t know my sides well, I guess LOL
Never mind, Ali, it was a tough quiz, but thanks for playing 🙂
I actually got #9 correct but the final was only 6 correct. Great quiz.
#9 was the Teddygon? You did well getting that, and a score of 6 is fine for this quiz, Carol! Thank you for playing 🙂
Yes I surprised myself on that one. 🙂
It was great! Thank you for this!
Thanks for playing, Lorso! Glad you enjoyed 🙂
